ESPN host Jemele Hill went on a Twitter tirade about Donald Trump.

ESPN has sent out a statement regarding tweets from SportsCenter anchor Jemele Hill that were sent out Monday, saying her views didn't reflect those of the network.

Hill went on a tirade about President Donald Trump, in which she called him a white supremacist and said he was unfit to be president.

ESPN's statement said Hill realizes her actions were inappropriate.

It began with Hill calling Trump a white supremacist who surrounds himself with other white supremacists, then got even more inflammatory as her followers responded.

ESPN recently found itself in another controversy involving white supremacists.

After protests in Charlottesville, Va., over the removal of statues that honored Confederate general Robert E. Lee, the network removed a play-by-play announcer named Robert Lee from a game at the University of Virginia.
